At the Fork
89 min.
In this documentary, filmmaker and omnivore John Papola attempts to provide an "even-handed" look at the animal farming industry. He visits a variety of farmers, and they all talk about the economic and moral issues that they constantly face, as well as the constant pressure from corporate food suppliers. There are also interviews with industry experts such as Dr. Temple Grandin, Whole Foods CEO John Mackey, and journalist Mark Dittman. There is some graphic footage of animal castration, overcrowding, and other farming industry practices.
