A quiet but deeply felt film. Ittetsu Nemoto, a Japanese former punk-turned-Buddhist monk, has dedicated himself to helping suicidal people find reasons to live. In his country, suicide rates are high and many people feel alienated and unable to express their pain. However, his endeavors take a toll on his own health, leaving him highly conflicted.
