Detropia
90 min.
The death of the American dream was illustrated by the economic, urban, and social collapse of Detroit following the departure of the city's automotive manufacturing industries. Some of the city's residents remain in spite of the living conditions because they can't afford to go elsewhere. Others stay and strive for solutions. Overall, a reminder of how capitalism and corporations can build up or destroy millions of lives in any place at any time.
