This contemplative film about love, loss, and language extinction uses a fictional indigenous language called Zikril. The last two surviving speakers of the language refuse to speak to one another and are old in age. Enter Martín, a young linguist determined to reconcile their relationship and to preserve their language, who uncovers much more than he anticipated.
