As a result of government corruption and crushing sanctions imposed by the U.S., Venezuela has turned into a catastrophic humanitarian crisis. The country has lost most of its doctors and salaries peak at twelve dollars a month. This documentary follows several individuals, including a doctor in training and an activist medication smuggler, who are torn between staying and helping the ill or fleeing as well. Screened at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival 2019.
