Schindler's List
Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson) was responsible for saving thousands of Jews during the Holocaust in WW II. He risked his own life by staying closely aligned with the Nazis while protecting Jewish lives by employing them at his factory in Poland and convincing the Nazis that his workers should not be sent to the concentration camps. This movie is a heart wrenching documentation of the reality of the Holocaust and a testament to this man's courage. This movie portrays both Jews and Nazis in a non-cliché manner and eludes to larger issues of human behavior that go beyond what happened in World War II.
