Based on a true story. This film is about a team of journalists who were tasked with investigating widespread child sexual abuse by Catholic priests in the Boston area. Because these crimes had been abetted by cover-up efforts from the Roman Catholic Church, it ultimately took the publication of the journalists's findings to expose the situation and to bring some of the perpetrators to trial.
