Activism bio (charitable work)
Danny Glover is a social activist and humanitarian. His main focus is on the issues of racial discrimination, poverty, and the repeal of capital punishment. He campaigned on behalf of Ralph Nader and the Green Party ticket in 2000 and tried to tackle voter apathy by publicly talking about the issues that neither the Democratic or Republican parties were discussing: globalization and the prison system. Danny Glover has been awarded many times by various organizations for his commited activist work.
